The Cherokee Grill
| If you would prefer a popular restaurant, the Cherokee Grill & Steakhouse features great steaks, fresh fish and seafood, rotisserie chicken, salads and sandwiches and a great selection of appetizers. Often referred to as Gatlinburg's Great Steakhouse the restaurant is located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains at 1002 Parkway in Gatlinburg Tennessee. It is situated in Calhoun's Village along with Calhoun's On The Parkway and the brewery restaurants. The phone number for the Cherokee Grill is (865) 436-4287 and they do offer call ahead seating.
With its downtown Parkway location this restaurant provides easy access from many of the downtown hotels and Gatlinburg cabins and there is also accessible parking. The Cherokee Grill boasts a brick and stone exterior with interior accents of walnut and granite creating the atmosphere of a timeless mountain lodge. A beautiful fireplace adds to the aroma and much of the seating allows for some great views of Gatlinburg. The lighting is low to moderate and the decor is modernly mountain. Overall it’s a casual restaurant with a pleasantly comfortable upscale feel.
The Cherokee Grill is part of the Copper Cellar Family of Restaurants and like many restaurants in the Gatlinburg area Cherokee Grill is a very busy restaurant but you’ll be pleased at the quality of food and the service and it is reasonably priced for the area. So stop in and try the popular “prosperity steak” for dinner while you’re taking a cabin vacation in the Smokey Mountains. You’ll also want to keep in mind that they have a private function hall on the property that will accommodate up to two hundred people. |
