The Wild WaterDome Waterpark is part of the luxurious Wilderness at the Smokies vacation and meeting resort. The Smokies Surf Rider will allow you to test your surfing skills as 19,000 gallons of water rushes beneath you each minute to create an ocean like wave. For a real thrill take a 55 ft plunge down a dark tunnel spinning into a funnel before your raft splashes down into the pool below the Storm Chaser Thrill Ride. Experience the shear exhilaration of the twisting curves and drops of the Trail Twister Tube Slides. Kids will splash and play for hours at the 3,700 square foot multi-leveled Washout Mountain area under the dumping bucket and all of the spraying water features. The Flying Squirrel Play Area will keep toddlers busy and wet with 2 kiddie slides, a teeter totter and bounce/swing tree.
Wild WaterDome also features Magnolia Grove Hot Spa. It’s a huge indoor/outdoor hot tub where you can relax and indulge yourself in the warm soothing water in the open air or by swimming through to the inside where you watch all of the action in the Wild Waterdome.
In the summer you can also enjoy two great outdoor waterparks at Wilderness at the Smokies resort. Salamander Springs at the Stone Hill Lodge which is connected to the Sevierville Event Center and Lake Wilderness Outdoor Waterpark which is connected to the River Lodge.
